Ślub po irlandzku

Ta kartka i pudełko do niej są dla irlandzkiej pary młodej.

Postanowiłam więc umieścić na nich kilka rzeczy związanych z irlandzkimi tradycjami,

 na przykład: dzwoneczki ( ich dźwięk ma utrzymywać z daleka wszelkie złe duchy), 

irlandzkie koniczynki, wstążki ( wstążki zawiązane odpowiednio wokół nadgarstków kobiety i mężczyzny symbolizują nieskończoność).

Chociaż to zielony jest uważany za kolor najbardziej związany z Irlandią, to uważa się, że właśnie niebieski przynosi szczęście pannie młodej w jej dzień ślubu. Dlatego i kartka i pudełko u mnie są w tym kolorze.

This card and box for it are for Irish couple.

So I try to put there few things connected with Irish tradition, for example:

 wedding bells ( the chime of the bells is said to keep evil spirits away), Irish shamrocks, 

ribbons (a ribbons are wound around the top of woman wrist and under and around the man wrist, creating the infinity symbol).

Though green is the color most commonly associated with Ireland,

it's actually blue that's said to bring good luck to the bride on her wedding day, that's why both: card and box are in this color.
